My work explores the female figure through scale, restraint, and psychological presence. In the Goddess series, I depict women at a larger-than-life scale, positioning them as dominant within the pictorial space while maintaining a quiet, introspective tone.

My approach

Working within a controlled, often muted palette, I reduce visual noise to emphasize subtle shifts in expression and surface. The face becomes the primary site of engagement, while the body and surrounding environment recede, challenging traditional hierarchies in figurative painting.

These figures are not presented as objects of spectacle, but as self-contained presences. Through stillness, scale, and compositional control, the work creates space for women to exist on their own terms—where occupying space becomes an act of agency.
